BR-10SN Control

u  Overview

•     BR-10SN control is an integrated control device installed in combination with thepolemountload switch or sectionalizer on MV overhead distribution lines

•     BR-10SN control is separately composed of a control module and a surge protection module to protect it to reduce the possibility of damage to the control module due to an external electrical surge. Therefore, it is possible to provide users with improved maintainability and reduced maintenance costs.

•     The BR-10SN control has an extra output contact to drive the solenoid coil, which can be connected to devices employing DC solenoid actuators such as sectionalizers.

•     BR-10SN control is equipped with spare input and output contacts, buttons, and indicators that can be used by the user

•     Auto-sectionalizing function that detects faults on the line by detecting the operation of upstream protective devices located on the source side, such as reclosers, and operates based on this.

•     Real-time electrical quantity measurement and calculation of distribution line, status monitoring of distribution line and connected devices, and controlling the switch

•     Battery management, and automated battery test and status checking periodically

•     Sequential events, demand profiles, fault detection history, and fault waveform record

•     Operating program for setting and verifying parameters, checking status and event history, and downloading firmware

•     Four operating setting groups and automatic operating setting group selection according to the direction of power flow

•     Directional fault detection and auto-sectionalizing function

•     Load shedding function with automatic re-closing

•     Auxiliary input and output contacts, and indicators

•     IEC 60870-5-101/104 and DNP3 Protocols

•     Used as a control to remotely operate the polemount load break switch in distribution automation system

•     Used as a control for the polemount load break switch to implement auto-sectionalizing function on overhead distribution lines

•     Used as a control to monitor and control the polemount load break switch remotely using SMS transmission function

•     Used as a control for the polemount load break switch with automatic re-closing function to supply power again when power quality is restored after the polemount load break switch is opened by load shedding function.

•     Used as a control to control the polemount load break switch through control signals from other devices using auxiliary DI and DO contacts.
