Z120,160-XXX Installations
1. Preparing to Install
1) Disconnect power from the breaker before installing the product.
2) Check the voltage of the system at the installation site.
3) The grounding method of the installation site system shall be checked, and all grounds shall comply with the relevant regulations.
2. Installation Method
1) Secure the SPD near the target to be protected.
2) Cut the wire of the SPD to an appropriate length and perform terminal processing.
3) Connect the power terminal of the SPD to the load side of the breaker and the ground terminal to the ground side.
4) After raising the circuit breaker and supplying power, check whether the power LED (Green) is illuminated and the fault LED (Red) is not illuminated.
Install an SPD separator on the load side terminal of the three-phase, four-wire branch breaker inside the switchboard, or on the front end of the facility to be protected, and connect it with the above connection diagram.
3. Precautions
1) When testing a track for withstand voltage and insulation resistance measurement, the SPD must be separated from the track.(If withstand voltage, insulation resistance, or other pressurization tests are carried out while SPD is connected, it will cause failure.)
2) If SPD is broken down and repaired or modified at random, it causes malfunction or failure.
