HD Hyundai Electric is constantly striving to develop various types of eco-friendly GIS,starting with SF6-Free GIS,which was developed with entirely in-house technology for the first time in Korea.
To start with,by substituting NOVEC gas for SF6(Sulfur Hexafluoride),of which the global warming potential(GWP) is 23,900 times greater than CO2,we have successfully reduced greenhouse gas emissions by staggering 99% and started to take proactive measures to reduce SF6 gas.
